Our Recreation and Education Camp is also an excellent facility for school retreats. This website website contains a number of excellent DOC and other interpretation resources for teachers and students. Bookings though the DOC Rangitaiki Area Office at Murupara (07) 366 1080

In late 2006 we expect to be able to invite you to spend a day at our nursery and education centre at Minginui, for some hands on learning about our plants, birds, and forest ecology.

While you are here, please take note of our Kura, so your children can share what we are doing with our Katiakitanga Program and our Tipu Ake Organic Leadership Model to help towards our world's future. We would like you to share your skills, knowledge and experiences with our tamariki (children). We have our junior (total immersion) campus at Minginui and our senior (transition) one (up to Level 10) at Te Whaiti, where you will find our Office.
