    Whirinaki Forest Summer Programme

Whirinaki Rainforest - Summer Holiday Programme in Minginui:

If you are in the valley over the summer holidays we invite you to join in on any events that are going on in the valley . We invite you to start your holiday with a welcome onto our marae where we will introduce you to our customs and tell you about the richness of our special place you are visiting.

We expect to have our Whirinaki Centre and Nursery operating this summer with activities you can enjoy even if the weather is wet, but delays in construction and a problem with a possible toxic hazard on the site ( an old Forestry depot) may delay this.
